the wrong car

so this happened a few weeks ago after work i was dead tired like one of those days where you just wanna get home anyway i stopped by the grocery store grabbed some stuff and ran out to the parking lot it was raining so i wasn’t really payin attention saw my car or what i thought was my car jumped in tossed the bags on the seat started the engine
then i hear this laugh like not just a giggle but full-on laughing i turn and there’s this girl sittin in the passenger seat she’s lookin at me like what the hell and she goes uh this is my car
i swear i froze for a second then just blurted out oh my god i’m so sorry and jumped out of the car i was mortified but she was still laughin like it was the funniest thing she even helped me find my actual car parked two spaces over as i’m unlockin it she goes “hey by the way i’m lisa if you’re gonna steal cars at least pick the right one next time”
we ended up exchangin numbers no idea why but now every time i see a car like hers i can’t stop smilin life’s weird like that
