sad story A Marriage Made In Heaven

sad story A Marriage Made In Heaven
May 21, 2024

We met Maria through this site. Maria was new to my city. She was sitting on a park bench reading a book. I was in a hurry to get to work as usual, but something made me stop. Her eyes were so deep that it looked like they could see the entire universe. I went over and asked her what she was reading. She smiled and said, " something that changes your life." From that day on, our lives really changed. We saw each other every day, talked about everything in the world. I knew she was my soul mate, my only one. Six months later, I proposed to her, and she agreed. Our marriage was so happy that it felt like heaven had blessed it. We traveled, laughed, dreamed. Everything was perfect. But sometimes fate knows how to take the best without warning. One morning, Maria said she felt tired. We thought it was just a cold or overwork. But as the weeks passed, the fatigue didn't go away. Doctors made a terrible diagnosis-cancer, the last stage. We only had a few months left. I didn't leave her side. Every day was our little miracle. We watched the sunset together, read her favorite life-changing books. One evening, when I was holding her hand, she whispered, "this marriage was really made in heaven. You made my life happy." And then she fell asleep. Forever. Now I go to the same park every day, sit on the same bench, and read her favorite book. I know we'll meet again. Because such marriages don't end even when one of us leaves this world.
