I was 17 when I asked Sarah out on a date. I was so nervous, I barely ate all day.
We went to a nice restaurant, and I wanted to impress her. So, when the waiter came, I said, I’ll have what the chef recommends.
Turns out, the chef recommended something spicy. Very spicy.
Halfway through dinner, my face turned red, I started sweating, and my eyes watered. Sarah just stared at me, probably wondering if I was about to pass out.
I tried to act cool, but let’s be honest I looked like I was dying.
She laughed and said, Next time, maybe stick to the menu.
There was no second date.
