A forgotten joke.

At a family dinner, my uncle told me a joke that no one understood. Despite his confusion, everyone at the table burst out laughing just to see how much fun he was having. A week later, I heard the same joke on a comedy show-and finally realized what exactly was the meaning of this joke. I called my uncle and we laughed heartily, which strengthened our bond even more. This is the same joke I told my girlfriend from this site. we also laughed and she said I was very funny. she likes my sense of humor.
