An old woman on the bus

An old woman on the bus

Once a very banal situation...I remember it for the rest of my life.
I saw an old woman on the bus who couldn't find her bus pass.
The driver started scolding her, and the passengers just watched.
I paid for her ticket and walked her to her seat.
It seemed like a normal thing...it didn't cost me anything...and it seemed like nothing had happened.
She thanked me and then said quietly: May you always have help when you need it.
I have remembered her words for the rest of my life. They have such a deep meaning!
