Friendship between a man and a woman

My best friend, Elizabeth, and I have known each other since childhood and have been together our whole lives. Many people don't believe in friendship between a man and a woman, but we have proven that it is possible. We have been through a lot together: school trials, first loves, difficult moments in life. I could always count on her like a rock. We supported each other in everything, shared joy and sorrow. Many times people argued with us, saying that such a friendship was impossible. But we didn't listen to them. We knew that our connection was special. We were like reflections of each other, complementing each other in everything. Without any romantic feelings. I don't know how to explain it, but it is possible. And I really appreciate her and her trust in me. Over time, we realized that our friendship is a treasure that needs to be protected. We have gone through a difficult path together and will always support each other. My friendship with Elizabeth is the most precious thing I have in my life.
