I recently got sick and my dog just didn't leave me. She felt my pain and was quite quiet and didn't play. I was talking to her and it was as if I could see in her eyes that she knew exactly what I was saying to her. When I got better, she also seemed to come to life and immediately cheered up. Now we go for walks even more often. Dogs are loyal friends.
