We were best friends.

Ever since I was a kid, I was often teased because of my glasses. 
I felt lonely until one day a girl from a parallel class came up to me and said You're cool. Don't pay attention to them.   From then on, we were best friends. She taught me not to be afraid to be myself. We still talk to each other, very rarely, but she was my savior back then. Kids can be very crue. She's my friend, but here I am looking for a woman who will change my life. I'm tired of being alone.
