Why didn't I do it?

my girlfriend asked me to tell you about it here on this dating site. When I was a kid, I had a best friend with whom we were together all the time We dreamed together about how we would go to conquer the world when we grew up.  But life divorced us: he moved to another city, and then somehow communication broke down.  Many years later I saw him on social networks. I wanted to write, but I didn't dare. And recently I found out that he's gone.  Now I think: what prevented me from writing earlier? Why didn't I do it? We were so close... You have to appreciate people while they're around...otherwise you'll regret it all your life.
