It was supposed to be a simple road trip me, Jake, and Paul heading to a cabin in the woods for a weekend.
First mistake? Jake forgot to bring the map. We’ve got GPS, he said.
Second mistake? Paul thought it’d be fun to take a ‘shortcut.’ Spoiler it wasn’t.
We ended up lost in the middle of nowhere, with no signal, and running low on gas.
At some point, Jake said, Well, at least we’ve got snacks. But guess what? He forgot the snacks too.
We spent the night in the car, arguing over whose fault it was. In the morning, we finally found a gas station… 50 miles from where we were supposed to be.
Best trip ever? Not really. But it’s a story we’ll laugh about for years.
